almost happened on my last cruise. A real cute thai gal working as a casino waitress. we played cat and mouse games, sneaking behind me to pinch me gently... The biggest obstacle besides coworkers and my wife around was the fact that she had no time for herself. working til 3-4 am, sleep a few, then back on for lunch... and no place to go, everyone knows everything on a ship.
